Fans will be Excited – Arsenal want €20m Striker in January
It is clear that after reinforcing their attacking midfield, Arsenal’s next transfer target will be to strengthen the strikeforce.
Giroud is currently the only senior striker and if he is unavailable, Arsenal have no real quality to replace him.
Therefore, Arsenal will try their best to lure a quality striker in the January transfer window, something they failed to do in summer.
Daily Mail suggests that Arsenal are looking to lure Juventus striker Fernando Llorente and that too on loan. The Spanish star is not getting much game time with the Italian champions as he has only started 2 league games this season.
If such a scenario continues then Llorente is likely to miss out on a world cup place when other compatriots are playing regularly for their clubs.
Fans will be excited if Arsenal can some how strike the deal to lure the €20m Spaniard to Emirates in summer. He is top quality.
From 2010-2012, Llorente scored no less than 52 goals in all competitions and still has the class. However, Tevez and Vucinic are running things at Juve and Conte is not preferring the newcomer much as yet.
Gunners must act fast to move for Llorente as if he is available, other top clubs will surely be interested to sign him as well.
Can Arsenal lure him in January?
