Ter Stegen agent dismisses Barcelona

The Germany goalkeeper's representative says 'two or three' big clubs are interested in his client but that he could elect to stay at Gladbach Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen's agent has moved to dismiss rumours that his client is set to join Barcelona in the summer. The young Germany goalkeeper has long been touted as a potential replacement for Victor Valdes, who is set to leave Camp Nou when his contract expires this summer. Recent reports had suggested that he had already agreed to move to Spain but his representative insists that the reports are false. "It's pure speculation," Gerd vom Bruch told Rheinische Post. "There are two or three really good clubs interested in Marc. And Borussia know about that too. But we talking to Gladbach about a contract renewal." However, Vom Bruch revealed that talks with the club have stalled over the course of the international break. "Marc is away with the national team and [Gladbach general manager] Max Eberl is not in Gladbach too."
